The Storycrafters, Jeri Burns and Barry Marshall, are an award-winning musical storytelling duo working in the US and abroad for the last 20 years. We have performed and taught in every kind of venue you can imagine (and a few you wouldn’t want to imagine). We compose original works and music, retell traditional tales, have numerous award-winning recordings, and are hard at work at writing a bunch of books. As college faculty and arts educators in schools, our students have included children, teens, parents, teachers, librarians, lawyers, and other professionals. Over time and space, we have made more than a few observations about storytelling – the art, the people, and the places. It is more than time to share them.
